Project description: under the auspices of the agreement, the bridge over the Daugava and over the Little Daugava was renovated, in addition to which the Zaķusala inter-stage bridge was also renovate. The construction works also involved the renovation of driving surfaces, renovation of bridge supports, replacement of the old pavements and parapets with new ones, construction of monolithic pavements, construction of reinforced concrete dividing stages between the two road surfaces, installation of safety barriers and railings, application of new horizontal road marking, construction of a pedestrian and cycle path, rainwater drainage systems and installation of LED lighting on the bridge and in the pedestrian tunnel.
