Project description: After a large-scale reconstruction and the introduction of modern, bold solutions, the Soviet heritage house has acquired a new visual image and multifunctionality. - Insulation of the building and other measures to improve energy efficiency have been carried out. - Accessibility to the environment has been ensured by the installation of ramps and an elevator - A wide terrace with a canopy for holding events has been built - The surroundings of the building have been landscaped. The building at Skolas Street 4 is one of the central locations of Ikšķile. It houses a three-story library, offices for doctoral and other medical services, and will soon be home to a children's and youth center for technical creativity.
