Project description: After less than a year of construction works, at the end of November 2017, the State Construction Control Bureau put the construction facility “Reconstruction of Gaujas Street A, Ādaži” into operation. Within the framework of the construction works, two roundabouts were built, underground utility lines were rebuilt, and divided footpaths and bicycle paths were built on both sides of the street. The asphalt surface was replaced with a pavement, the area was improved, benches, bike racks were installed, the accessibility of the environment was improved, and the area was greened. Everyone will notice it – Gaujas Street has become a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly street after the reconstruction! Within the framework of the competition “The Best Construction of the Year in Latvia 2017”, the facility “Reconstruction of Gaujas Street A, Ādaži” was awarded the 2nd place in the nomination “Engineering Structure”.
