Client: Construction supervision of construction works “Construction of a boathouse/boatshed at the Seaside Open-Air Museum in Ventspils”

Project description: In the spring of 2021, the construction of the boathouse in the territory of the Seaside Open-Air Museum was completed. A range of fishing boats were built, including 21 fishing boats and fishing related items. As the representatives of the museum inform, each boat has an individual story, for example, the so-called Oscar's boat, which was filmed in the 1939 version of “The Fisherman's Son”, or the fishing boat “Aira”, which took refugees from the coast of North Kurzeme to Sweden at the end of the World War II. The boathouse won the "Latvian Construction of the Year Award 2021" in the category “WOODEN BUILDING”.
