Project description: In the autumn of 2016, the construction works of the swimming pool of the Sports School of Limbaži and Salacgrīva County were started, so that two years later, a modern and spacious multifunctional sports and health complex with two pools, an aerobics hall, a gym, saunas and baths was handed over to the local residents. Also, within the framework of the project, the area adjacent to the swimming pool was improved, creating a lawn, footpaths, benches, and a parking lot. Positive changes are noticeable to everyone passing through Limbaži. With the opening of the complex, the residents of Limbaži and Salacgrīva County have an additional opportunity to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle while taking care of their health! Within the framework of the competition “The Best Construction of the Year in Latvia 2018”, the facility of the multi-functional sports and health complex in at Jaunatnes Street 4A, Limbaži was awarded the 2nd place in the nomination “Public New Building”.
